Terms of Use
1. The service
CatNav is a free directory app that helps you find and plan visits to cat cafés in cities around the world. It provides public information such as addresses, opening hours, prices and details of resident cats. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms.
2. Information is for guidance
Café details can change. We work hard to keep information accurate and show when it was last verified, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is always correct. Always check with the café before you travel — opening hours, prices and entry rules are at the café's discretion.
3. Acceptable use
- Use CatNav for lawful, personal purposes only.
- Do not attempt to access, scrape, or interfere with our servers beyond normal app use.
- Do not submit misleading or abusive "suggest an edit" notes. We moderate suggestions before they appear.
4. No accounts, no refunds
CatNav is free and has no accounts, subscriptions or in-app purchases. There is therefore nothing to refund. The optional rewarded ad is entirely your choice.
5. Availability
We aim to keep CatNav available and its data current, but we may change, suspend or withdraw part or all of the service at any time without notice.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cloudy NI is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the app or from acting (or not acting) on information found in it — including decisions to visit a café or rely on its listed prices, hours or facilities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
7. Intellectual property
The CatNav name, logo and app are ours. Directory facts (which are not copyrightable) are compiled from public sources with attribution. Café names and images remain the property of their owners. Any licensed photography is credited in the app and in our asset credits.
8. Third-party services
CatNav uses Google (Firebase, AdMob) and Supabase for analytics, crash reporting, advertising and data storage. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page.
